Aston Pottery and Gardens

Gardens

Our Gardens flower from the middle of April through to September. We have carefully selected our choice of plants to maintain the vibrancy and longevity of our borders throughout the year. Our Hornbeam Walk is planted to give a new experience to the knowing eye every month. If bees and butterflies are your thing, make sure to come between July and August for a chance to see our rare Black Bumble Bee: ‘Bombus ruderatus.’

We are very proud to have had several articles written about our gardens. These fabulous articles were published in: Landscape Magazine, RHS The Garden Magazine, The Telegraph, Country Living Magazine, Cotswold Life and Gardens Illustrated.

Being featured on BBC’s Gardeners World back in the summer was also such a privilege and something we are also very proud of! We are feeling very grateful for all the exposure our gardens have had and we hope they bring our lovely customers as much joy as they give us. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0bjj97d

  • review rating 5  I visited today as part of a small home education group, we enjoyed walking around the gardens and loved the tour of the pottery workshop. I completely underestimated the process that each piece of pottery goes through and am so impressed with the energy and craftsmanship of the staff. The food in the cafe is lovely and it’s all just very well done from the decent amount of parking to the beautiful shop displays and the gorgeous outside spaces. Thank you

  • review rating 5  This is a wonderful place to visit. Exquisite displays of gifts for every taste, not to mention the most delightful pottery designs! Always something new to see and please the eye. The restaurant too, offers a most pleasing ambience and excellent choice of food. Outside, now in September, there is a virtual 'tsunami' of colour - especially the Dahlias, every variety, shape and colour imaginable. Who needs the Chelsea Flower Show?! My friends and I Never tire of coming to Aston Potteries.

  • review rating 5  The pottery and attached cafe are well worth a visit! The pottery is well designed with a wide range of shapes and patterns. The designs are original, cheerful, and reflect much of the local plant and animal life. As for the cafe, both times I have been there it was packed, because they serve a small range of fairly simple home-cooked food (quiches are a speciality) at very reasonable prices; they are, however, invariably tasty, and if I lived nearby, I would turn up regularly for lunch. The gardens are also worth a look if you can spare the time!

  • review rating 5  I didn't get anything to eat as I wanted the Mac and cheese, the would only to serve as part of a meat dish. I was willing to pay for the meet dish with out the meat but the wouldn't any substitutions. My daughter was served a out of date yogurt. I have never been back. It has a lot of people go in and out. The pottery side is fantastic.
