In 2009, Jane and Stephen decided to develop their passion for gardening and embarked on a 9 year project to develop the 5 main borders that you see today. This has been done in conjunction with different members of the pottery and shop workforce, and a very valued volunteer.
Our Gardens flower from the middle of April through to September. We have carefully selected our choice of plants to maintain the vibrancy and longevity of our borders throughout the year. Our Hornbeam Walk is planted to give a new experience to the knowing eye every month. If bees and butterflies are your thing, make sure to come between July and August for a chance to see our rare Black Bumble Bee: ‘Bombus ruderatus.’
We are very proud to have had several articles written about our gardens. These fabulous articles were published in: Landscape Magazine, RHS The Garden Magazine, The Telegraph, Country Living Magazine, Cotswold Life and Gardens Illustrated.
Being featured on BBC’s Gardeners World back in the summer was also such a privilege and something we are also very proud of! We are feeling very grateful for all the exposure our gardens have had and we hope they bring our lovely customers as much joy as they give us. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0bjj97d

Great pottery, lovely tearoom & stunning garden filled with beautiful flowers.
Afternoon Tea was delicious. Variety of sandwiches, scones, and gorgeous cakes. It's a must.
A good place to eat and drink if you don't have a dairy allergy.......very poor on service if you want dairy free food...not made on a regular basis and not able to offer alternatives!
Went with the WI, had a fascinating demonstration, followed by a wonderful cream tea. The gift shop is phenomenal 🙂
That's a first! - went for afternoon tea and they had run out of tea bags so had to produce one from my handbag!
Lovely opening ceremony. The new floor is stunning, such gorgeous items to buy. The Christmas trees are beautiful and certainly give ideas for colour schemes. Beautiful gardens in the spring/summer. Cafe serves great freshly made food, cakes are amazing. The pottery for sale is nice, is rather expensive but its craftsmanship in action. Staff friendly and can get rather busy in the cafe.
Great place to walk around, loads of unusual items in the shop. The cafe is amazing, the cakes are huge and fantastic.
