Aston Pottery and Gardens

Gardens

Our Gardens flower from the middle of April through to September. We have carefully selected our choice of plants to maintain the vibrancy and longevity of our borders throughout the year. Our Hornbeam Walk is planted to give a new experience to the knowing eye every month. If bees and butterflies are your thing, make sure to come between July and August for a chance to see our rare Black Bumble Bee: ‘Bombus ruderatus.’

We are very proud to have had several articles written about our gardens. These fabulous articles were published in: Landscape Magazine, RHS The Garden Magazine, The Telegraph, Country Living Magazine, Cotswold Life and Gardens Illustrated.

Being featured on BBC’s Gardeners World back in the summer was also such a privilege and something we are also very proud of! We are feeling very grateful for all the exposure our gardens have had and we hope they bring our lovely customers as much joy as they give us. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0bjj97d

  • review rating 5  Great place to spend some time in the coffee shop where food always looks so delicious!! The gift shop just grows and grows so I can't be the only person who thinks it's a great place to look for gifts of all kinds. Outside the gardens are blooming marvellous. ?

  • review rating 5  I've been going to Aston Pottery since I was a little girl as it is just down the road from my Grandparents. It was my Grandparent's Diamond Wedding Anniversary on the 08.12. and I was unable to fly home from Austria to be with them on their special day. I contacted Helen at Aston Pottery who arranged afternoon tea for them and my Parents. I cannot thank Helen enough for all of her help and the staff in the café, my Grandparent's said it made their day. The table was beautifully laid with decorations and was perfect! Thank you very much! I can't wait to come and visit next Spring when I am next home... 🙂 x x

  • review rating 5  Participated in a suprise afternoon tea party for a bride to be on Saturday. The food was fantastic and such good value. We were well looked after, allowed to bring our own bubbles and had the messina room to ourselves. Thank you for helping to make it special.

  • review rating 5  Such a gorgeous place to visit. The herbaceous borders are stunning. The cafe food is beautiful. It was very busy today but I think that's because Aston Pottery was on Gardeners world last week! A beautiful place to loose a few hours in!

  • review rating 5  Wonderful Place near Oxford for pottery, superb food and drink. They started the gardens from scratch and they are becoming more beautiful each year. I have had the pottery now for more than 20 years and they still look like new. Very recommendable!
