Aston Pottery and Gardens
Aston Pottery and Gardens
Our gift shop was originally built in 1998 and expanded in 2008. Now in 2016, also utilising our upper floor, it is an extraordinary showcase of the patterns and designs we have produced in our 25 year history. Combined into fabulous displays, our gift shop mixes pottery with a large selection of classic and contemporary gifts for people of all ages. We work on a small order basis with most of our giftware displayed once for a short time only. Our gift shop is adjoined by our award winning country café (voted best café in the Oxfordshire restaurant awards 2015 and 2016). Outside, they are surrounded by our gardens and our visitor parking area.
Our products are sourced from all around the world, to create themed displays matching our various pottery ranges. The gift shop has expanded and diversified through a comprehensive and beautiful range of ladies accessories and clothing. As Christmas approaches the whole gift shop takes on a magical appearance with beautiful displays which change each year. The large themed trees are filled with colourful baubles and decorations ranging from kingfisher and peacock blues to lush golds and pinks, not forgetting our traditional red tree. You may also see a log cabin, a nutcracker theatre, or a woodland and ice theme as you meander round the shop. Currently, our shop stock can only be purchased by visiting us; we are frequently getting in new products so there will always be something new to see when you visit.
Our shop in the heart of Oxfordshire is the only place where you can see the full Aston Pottery collection of shapes and patterns. Everything we sell is designed, manufactured and hand-decorated at our workshop and studio adjacent to our Gift Shop in Aston, Oxfordshire. With something to fit everybody’s taste, our wealth of ceramic designs cover classical illustrative takes on popular wildlife and floral imagery, contemporary interpretations of pattern design, and the silhouetted forms of our Rural Life range, not to mention a host of offerings for those of a younger age.

I've just visited the pottery and had my lunch in the cafe. The Fish Pie was superb . It's a beautiful place to visit
Place I’ve always wanted to go as only 10 minutes away, had a good look round got lots of lovely things bit expensive but taken into account all made from scratch on site etc worth the money. Cafe was lovely only had coffee and a fruit scone but very yummy .bit disappointed about gardens as nothing was in flower even though I looked on website and there should have been definitely tell others about my visit 💐🍰☕️
Been coming here for years and have a good collection of the pottery. Lovely cafe too. definitely worth a visit or two, or three
What a lovely time my daughter and I had this afternoon. If we said once 'isn't that lovely" "oh! Love that" " now that is beautiful", must have said it dozens of times. The pottery is beautiful, so many other things I haven't seen before. So much to see. The cafe is a delight, spotless, and food is great, all homemade. Huge selection. A must to visit
I've been going to Aston Pottery since I was a little girl as it is just down the road from my Grandparents. It was my Grandparent's Diamond Wedding Anniversary on the 08.12. and I was unable to fly home from Austria to be with them on their special day. I contacted Helen at Aston Pottery who arranged afternoon tea for them and my Parents. I cannot thank Helen enough for all of her help and the staff in the café, my Grandparent's said it made their day. The table was beautifully laid with decorations and was perfect! Thank you very much! I can't wait to come and visit next Spring when I am next home... 🙂 x x
Aston Pottery is such a beautiful and charming place. Very pretty and relaxing and the restaurant serves great homemade food. I love this place.
A lovely little pottery. They do tours to go and see what they make. There is a good range of things to purchase as well as a restaurant selling both hot and cold food and drink.
The potery here is amazing, and we have lots of it at home. The cafe and other services here are very nice to. A great place for a morning / afternoon trip for some down time.
Brilliant visit, interesting trip around the pottery work area with an excellent talk on route about how the pottery is made. Very good reasonably priced shop. Very tasty and competitively priced restaurant. Amazing flower display in the well kept gardens. Nice to see friendly happy staff. Well worth a visit
Such a gorgeous place to visit. The herbaceous borders are stunning. The cafe food is beautiful. It was very busy today but I think that's because Aston Pottery was on Gardeners world last week! A beautiful place to loose a few hours in!
