Aston Pottery and Gardens
Aston Pottery and Gardens
Our gift shop was originally built in 1998 and expanded in 2008. Now in 2016, also utilising our upper floor, it is an extraordinary showcase of the patterns and designs we have produced in our 25 year history. Combined into fabulous displays, our gift shop mixes pottery with a large selection of classic and contemporary gifts for people of all ages. We work on a small order basis with most of our giftware displayed once for a short time only. Our gift shop is adjoined by our award winning country café (voted best café in the Oxfordshire restaurant awards 2015 and 2016). Outside, they are surrounded by our gardens and our visitor parking area.
Our products are sourced from all around the world, to create themed displays matching our various pottery ranges. The gift shop has expanded and diversified through a comprehensive and beautiful range of ladies accessories and clothing. As Christmas approaches the whole gift shop takes on a magical appearance with beautiful displays which change each year. The large themed trees are filled with colourful baubles and decorations ranging from kingfisher and peacock blues to lush golds and pinks, not forgetting our traditional red tree. You may also see a log cabin, a nutcracker theatre, or a woodland and ice theme as you meander round the shop. Currently, our shop stock can only be purchased by visiting us; we are frequently getting in new products so there will always be something new to see when you visit.
Our shop in the heart of Oxfordshire is the only place where you can see the full Aston Pottery collection of shapes and patterns. Everything we sell is designed, manufactured and hand-decorated at our workshop and studio adjacent to our Gift Shop in Aston, Oxfordshire. With something to fit everybody’s taste, our wealth of ceramic designs cover classical illustrative takes on popular wildlife and floral imagery, contemporary interpretations of pattern design, and the silhouetted forms of our Rural Life range, not to mention a host of offerings for those of a younger age.

That's a first! - went for afternoon tea and they had run out of tea bags so had to produce one from my handbag!

Yet another lovely visit to Aston Pottery. My bacon and egg ciabatta was so delicious. My favourite place to meet friends for a catch up.
This is my first visit here. The shop has lovely products. All staff are very friendly and helpful. The café has tasty food and great tasting coffee. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the flowers are wonderful. Thank you for a fantastic visit and we will definitely be back!
The pottery and attached cafe are well worth a visit! The pottery is well designed with a wide range of shapes and patterns. The designs are original, cheerful, and reflect much of the local plant and animal life. As for the cafe, both times I have been there it was packed, because they serve a small range of fairly simple home-cooked food (quiches are a speciality) at very reasonable prices; they are, however, invariably tasty, and if I lived nearby, I would turn up regularly for lunch. The gardens are also worth a look if you can spare the time!
I didn't get anything to eat as I wanted the Mac and cheese, the would only to serve as part of a meat dish. I was willing to pay for the meet dish with out the meat but the wouldn't any substitutions. My daughter was served a out of date yogurt. I have never been back. It has a lot of people go in and out. The pottery side is fantastic.
